What is a PTA member required to do?

There are no special requirements of a PTA member - you choose how you want to participate You may attend all PTA meetings, participate in elections, influence what programs are organized by the PTA, and vote on any PTA related issues.

I only have a couple of hours per month that I can donate? Is there a place for me?

You decide how much time you want to give - there a many ways you can help, a little or a lot, at special events, through PTA committee work - but you tell us how much time you can give.

If I join the PTA must I volunteer?

No - it is your choice whether you want to become involved or not; although we are always looking for volunteers, you are free to choose if or when you would like to help.

If I join the PTA will you call me or bother me, always wanting something?

We only call volunteers who have specifically completed a Volunteer Registration Form or who have contacted our volunteer coordinator and expressed an interest in volunteering PTA needs volunteers who want to be involved in their child's education.

Do I have to be a member to volunteer?

No, membership is not required to volunteer your time.
